Spend it, baby!

The alliance of Republicans in congress and the Trump camp has confirmed the staunch support of great leaders such as Paul Ryan, Mario Rubio, Mitch McConnell and Rand Paul for financial order in the American house.  It is totally untrue that the Republican Party has abandoned fiscal conservatism. Although the  billions of dollars in  deficits the new tax bill will produce may frighten some, these Republican stalwarts and political visionaries  understand that putting money back in the hands of the people, well, some of them, is well worth the lessening of federal support for health, education and all other social services. With the return of money to the folks, they can well afford to take out insurance, pay higher educational costs and drop change into the tin cans of people begging at the door to the grocery stores. Retired people, had they been well represented, might have fought to have Reagan´s income tax revoked. I am sure that the leaders of Republicanism light would have added that to the Christmas basket too.

Listening to a weeping Mr. Pense (Mike to his friends) wax on about the virtues of our glorious leader sounded as if his words had been taken right out of Kim Jung un´s manual on just how to glorify a national father figure in public. There was Mr. McConnell (Mitch to his pals and on TV) and Mr. Ryan smiling and whispering Praise the Lord. John McCain was lucky. He was sick in bed at home! Democrats, wake up! Let us never forget that federal spending what we do not have is now a Republican political venue. So what if social progress in health care, education, child care and the issues related to the well-being of people in particular are seen as a foreign evil.
