Tell the lie again and again and the masses will believe you! The simple fact is that in Spain there is a constitution and a judicial system based upon.  Here, only those who violate the law find themselves in  court. The Molt Honorable and cohorts did that again and again. The results are evident. As Amnesty International has just stated, there are no political prisoners in Spain, only violators of laws. Who provoked the application of Article 155 of the Spanish constitution? -They did by converting themselves in a closed little world of fantasy and worse, of ethical authority on which to justify their wants/wishes.

The recovery of the Democratic Party would become even stronger were Hillary Clinton to accept her defeat. The issue is that she is not/was not really an attractive option. Like many of you I did not vote for her as much as I voted against the Wizard of Trump. Hillary, please go away! You´ve had your 15 minutes.

    People tend to ignore one simple legal fact and its corollaries. The Catalonian independence seekers willingly and knowingly prepared for their declaration of independence in open violation of the Spanish constitution. Weeks before the vote in parliament that body´s legal advisors warned the speaker, the president of the autonomous region of Catalonia and the vice president that any such vote would be in open violation of the law of the land. The eager leaders declared that the popular will negated the constitution. The result of such decisions made it possible for them to call for a referendum. That vote simply ignored the laws of Spain and the laws of the autonomous region that these leaders had sworn to defend. Can we imagine a democratic nation ignoring its laws? Without laws we live in a jungle. The Spanish constitution won the support of nearly 70% of the Catalonian voters. Now the leaders are obliged to defend their illegal actions before the courts. This is not political oppression. Courts in Spain are, as in the USA, free. Mr. Puigdemont and his supporters pushed independence through parliament claiming massive public support in the referendum of Oct.1. That is farcical. Only a third of Catalonian voters went to the polls, at least once! The voting was a total scandal. Cases of ballot boxes arriving at polling stations with marked ballots already inside,  with people filmed voting two or three times are only part of he fiction upon which the defense of the birth of the republic is based. These people are not martyrs. They are cynical, mediocre politicians who believe that what they want must be acceptable because if they want it, it must be OK. They are their own source of inspiration and justifications of their acts.

Let´s ask ourselves. If Nevada were to declare itself a sovereign republic with bingo as the national sport, what would the president do? Remember A. Lincoln? Can we imagine Donald Trump not defending the constitution? Well, … .

Desde que el president de la Generalitat y sus secuaces lanzaron a Cataluña a sus cuatro horas de independencia, Da. Ana Calau, alcaldesa de Barcelona, ha permanecido muy, muy calladita. Al final del process ella se presentaba envuelta en la bandera catalana, y puño en alto condenó repetidas veces a la policia nacional de horribles actos de violencia contra el pacífico pueblo que ejercía su derecho a votar en el illegal referendum del 1 de octubre. En tres ocasiones declaró en la televisión que le habían llegado rumores según los cuales la policía había violado a mujeres durante las manifestaciones.

Esta noche, día 29 de octubre, aparecerá en la televisión. Naturalmente la cínica  Da. Ana aparecerá toda compungida, dolorida, sensible, sonriente, y comprensible. Se está preparando para las eleccciones del 21 de diciembre. Claro que se presentará como la candidata nueva de la izquierda populista a  la política regional y nacional. Pero, que tengamos en cuenta que ella es una tejedora de viles y falsos rumores que jamás ha sabido o querido aclarar y muchísimo menos negar. Como ella, TV3 sigue en pie de guerra contra la constitución. Los secesionistas están reagrupándose para seguir en Guerra contra España. El 155 significa el comienzo y el 21 de diciembre no significará el fin. Los Calau son los esclavos de sus ambiciones y sus fantasias. Cataluña y España son sus víctimas.

Catalonia Today is edited by Marcela Tupor  who is President Puigdemont´s wife. Of course it is a propaganda sheet in which everything is orientated to defend the seditious efforts to promote independence. In the last issue of the publication Ms. Tupor de Puigdemont picks up the party-line theme of police brutality on Oct. 1 when the independence forces staged an unconstitutional referendum on the issue. In her article, Ms. Puigdemont makes reference to what her political allies call bloody Sunday. Like so very much of their propaganda effort the claim of police brutality is most greatly exaggerated. By no means do I deny that  the police and civil guard forces did on  occasion react too strongly. Nobody denies that fact, and the courts are investigating the instances brought to their attention. But, Ms. Puigdemont´s article is a cynical and political effort to provoke feelings of being victimized where  none are called for.

The Catalonian nationalists claim that some 900 persons were injured and required medical attention due to police over-action on election day. Again and again the drums of outrage sound in the partisan press and regional television. Even abroad the issue of police brutality is accepted. Let´s review the facts.

If 900 people were treated for wounds or injuries, where are the police reports? Upon arrival at hospital in Spain, a police report is made immediately is foul play is suspected. Also, where are the medical reports and records? Nobody is treated without medical documentation for emergency services. The fact is that these claims and Ms. Puigdemont´s article in the magazine she edits are absolute lies. We now know that many of the photos purporting to evidence cases of police brutality on Oct. 1 were falsified pictures of other incidences such as the Catalonian police evicting squatters some time ago. In truth the independence people leaked pictures they had previously  prepared to support their cause. Now, Mr. Puigdemont has named a committee to look into police violation of human rights on Oct. 1.

Like what I give you above, far too much of the reporting given by the Generalitat is propaganda. It has been cynically filtered through photo shop to promote the cause.  Ms. Puigdemont´s article in Catalonia Today (on-line) is more of the same trash. Why don´t they talk about the 43 Spanish policemen who were treated for wounds inflicted on them by the activists? We know now that some three or four persons were treated at hospital One suffering lady complained that her left hand was badly injured by a policeman. But it was the right hand that was bandaged up!  The Generalitat is discredited for its false claims ands statement. They denied that companies would flee the region due to independence activity. Well, Ms.Puigdemont, as of Oct. 15, some 540 companies, including all the major banks, have left for Valencia, Madrid, or Palma.  Please, Ms. Puigdemont, don´t tell anybody. It would hurt the cause. Earlier this week over one million persons took to the streets in Barcelona with the Spanish flag in their hands.
