El president de la Comunidad gallega ha pedido que los líderes de los partidos constitucionalistas pongan delante los intereses de la nación en lugar de sus  ambiciones egoistas y partidistas. ¿Cómo puede el Dr. Sánchez fiarse de personas que odian a la nación española y que sueñan con su ruina? ¿Querrá que la historia se acuerde de él como el Dr. Sánchez (casi) o como el Dr. Frankenstein cuya criatura ahogó a la niñas que buscaba flores? Y, ¿usted  Sr. Casado. ¿cómo se acordará la historia de usted cuando lo compare con el president de los gallegos?

In Seville tour operators are demanding that hotels reduce prices by up to 60%. Tourism in Seville, as in the rest of Spain is decreasing seriously- But at the same time there seems to be real hysteria to build/open five-star hotels in town. Right now, there are six in the works. OK. How come we need six new hotels deluxe if Seville´s modest income tourists are less? Why do we need six new five-star hotels when the Colón and the Alfonso are rarely full? Come on! Seville isn´t Madrid or Barcelona so the big money tourists or convention-goers are not going to come here in masses like birds or schools like sardines. Before, there was a bank branch on every corner, now there are dental clinics on every corner and it would seem that tomorrow there will be five-star hotels taking up those spaces. Progress is so sublime when not stupid.

Marbella sigue siendo un paraíso en la Costa del Sol. A diferencia del resto del Medierráneo en verano, Marbella -al este desde Puerto Banús y al oeste de Fuengirola, en Marbella al aire estamos cómodos. Lo malo es el turismo tóxico de chanclas y comiseta hecha  en  Bangla Desh que domina las calles y el abandono por parte el ayuntamiento marbellí, la Diputación y la Junta de invertir en las infraestructuras que desde Jesús Gil para acá no han experimentado ninguna mejoría: Marbella vive de una fama  ya historia.  El centro es  un vulgar zoco donde las tiendas de calidad son minimísimas.  Todo es más o menos recuerdos y productos cutres y las calles están sucias. Otro problema es que Calify es un desastre. Los conductores no conocen Marbella y lo normal es que se pierden y abandonan al cliente esperando en la calle.  Solución: el taxi de toda la vida. Al salir de los centros comerciales camino de casa el taxi es carísimo debido a que las salidas de los parking a las calles están saturados. En general en Marbella las salidas para el tráfico son gravemente y peligrosamente insuficientes gracias a la indiferencia de las autoridades. Es hora de buscar otros lugares para veranear, … fuera del paraíso.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Partido Popular and Ciudadanos are  showing just how  ambitious they really are. Dr. Pedro Sanchez has evidenced that when it comes to push and shove, the PSOE stands  to defend the constitution too. It too is a political force in pro of respect for the laws of the land. Why, then, are Mr. Casado a d Mr. Rivera working with all their pettiness to force him into a situation where the enemies of constitutional order will have a decisive voice in the establishment of a legitimate government? The opposition of very significant members of Ciudadanos and the voiced doubts of people like Esperanza Aguirre in the PP are a clear call to put the nation first and party ambitions  in the back.  Mr. Rivera and Mr. Casado only have to abstain in the vote of confidence to free the PSOE of any debts to the Secessionists,  the provincial nationalists and the populists. If they were statesmen they would do it and then take Sanchez to cause on every legitimate issue, once the constitutional order is assured. Gentlement of the center-right, Spain deserves far better of you.
