It didn´t take long at all. Yesterday, before  the principal and not so principal leaders of the European Community,  Mrs. Merkel stated in very clear terms that Europe can no longer trust the United States where treaty commitments mean nothing. Her statement came just after Mr. Macron of France insisted that Europe has no alternative other  than to become a geopolitical reality capable of deciding and defending its own interests and future. Both  leaders frankly stated that Europe will play no part in an embargo on Iran.  The Europeans are not dreamers nor fools. They are fully aware of the dark intentions of the fanatical clerics and their blood-hungry parasites in Damascus but Community leaders  understand that setting the house on fire is not the best solution to a problem.  The Iranian attack on the Golan was a way of saying thanks for putting the cards in their hands. Let´s remember that the North Korean great leader also wants cards to prop up the regime. I agree with Angela Merkel and I suggest  that we not trust him either.

Needless to say Europe in block is against the decision of the United States government to withdraw from its agreements on the Iranian. This fact will seem unimportant to many people and to Trump supporters in general. Be it as it may, let´s look at a very few facts that are on the table.

First, for the first time since 1945 and Mr. Truman,  our European allies have taken a firm stand  against us! The UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Turkey have formed a solid block behind the treaty. It has its shortcomings but rather than junk it sanctimoniously a la Trump we might first want to bring our doubts to the negotiating table.

Secondly, Mr. Trump in his absurd obstinacy has brought us to a situation in which our traditional allies are lined up with China and Russia against us. This is real isolation on the world seen.

For economic reasons, among others, Europe will stand to protect Iran from any US attempt to subject her to embargos. Let´s keep in mind that the Euro is just as strong as the Dollar. The days when we Americans could stand behind the sure fortress of American military and economic might are history. Mr. Trump´s promise to remake America is about as real as a July 4 with watermelon pickles.

Thirdly, one might suggest that Trump % Company is on another anti-Obama crusade. It is obvious to them all, less the former Secretary of State, that anything the former president favored, they must be against.

Finally, were we Kim Jung-Un, would be trust any treaty signed by Donald Trump? This capricious, volatile man who confuses his illusions for his gas pains via his wifi media has identified himself for what he really is. Around the world except for Israel and Saudi Arabia, who are rather special places, he has taken us into the desert of solitude on the international scene. There is a new world alliance on the horizon and, as we make America great again, we are not in it. Too many Americans assume that when they hear the trumpets blow it is for approval of madness from Washington.

Like many of you, I am amazed how difficult it is to find people and institutions now. For example we call a number and a machine offers to answer a series of questions we don´t want to ask Try finding a mailing address for Chase. No! E-mail us! All of this is done in the name of somebody´s efficiency. Besides, They hire fewer people  in the third world and keep costs down. This is how companies, an embassy or other public and private institutions hide themselves against clients and users who want answers to questions they prefer not to hear.

!Sorpresa, sorpresa! Sevilla no es para tanto. Claro el cogollo histórico está embellecidísimo para que el turista salga bien mono con un marco de geranios, gitanillas, flamencos y sitios d comida rápida, pero el resto de la ciudad es francamente  descuidado, abandonado, y en general, … feo. ¿Han observado que la grandísima mayoría de los balcones no tienen plantas? ¿Sabe que en Sevilla zona verde significa zona donde hay que pagar para apacarar el coche? !De árboles en la calle, nada!  En las zonas donde vivimos y que los turistas nunca ven, las calles están reseravadas exclusivamente para el  coche. !Miles y miles de coches! !Los árboles no se permiten, ni en las calles ni en los balcones. Recomiendo que el turismo de los cruceros visiten Los Remedios donde el arte callejero consiste en calles estériles de vegetación, balcones en los cuales se guarda la segunda nevera y las fachadas de la casa está  muy humilladas debido al decorado en miles de cables de todo tipo que forman verdaderos telerañas grotescas de nudos, cables que no van a ninguna parte y que cuelgan bailando en el aire e instalaciones eléctricas y telefónicas y la tele que contribuyen al atractivo casi tercermundista de la ciudad de la cual Lonely Planet habla maravillas.  !No tanto sino bastante menos! Like many of you I was stunned that the Florida Legislature was so bold as to vote for a gun control bill that lifted the age to buy a weapon and to limit the type of instruments of aggression that Floridians might acquire in their local gun emporium. although in the same bill they voted to authorize that Florida kindergarten, art and  music appreciation teachers, among others, carry guns to protect the kids, their stance is, in the debate over  gun control, a revolutionary act in the history of the United States vs. murder in the streets, in schools, in churches and at the malls by marauders, delinquents and kids next door. I understand the immense regret that their legislative actions have spooned in the ranks of the NRA where fear for national security must be paramount.  Now, I wonder what the governor will do?  How much will it cost to train teachers to ride shoot gun on their classes? Maybe Kim Jung-un can advise Mr. Trump on some subtile police control tactics to back up educators.
